About Us
Supporting people and strengthening communities
Reading FC Community Trust is the official charity of Reading Football Club.
For more than 17 years, we have used the power of the Club to care for, develop and educate people across our communities. Through sport, education, mentoring and targeted support, we help people belong, grow and thrive.
Our Mission
Powered by the reach and legacy of Reading Football Club, we create opportunities that help all people belong, grow and thrive in more equal communities.
Our Vision
We want to be at the heart of a new chapter for the communities we serve—empowering positive change, connecting communities and helping people improve their mental and physical health.
We Are More Than Just a Football Programme
Our connection to Reading Football Club gives us a powerful way to reach people, build trust and bring communities together. But our work extends far beyond the pitch.
We support people through education, alternative provision, mentoring, inclusive sport, personal development and community programmes. Some join us to play football or learn new skills. Others come to us for structure, friendship, confidence or support during a difficult period in their lives.
Whatever brings someone to the Community Trust, our purpose is the same: to help them realise their potential and feel stronger mentally, physically and emotionally.
“We are here to uplift, to inspire, and to transform. We change lives for the better, every single day.”
Diane Hall, Chair of Trustees
