Alongside our Alternative Provision, we have recently developed our RAP SEND Hub, a specialist high-needs provision designed to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) who require additional structure, therapeutic support and personalised learning.
The SEND Hub provides a calm, nurturing and highly individualised learning environment where young people can build confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing whilst working towards their EHCP outcomes. We work closely with schools, parents and local authorities to develop bespoke programmes combining education, mentoring and life skills tailored to each learner’s individual needs.
Our experienced mentors and support staff are trained in autism awareness, Team Teach and trauma-informed practice, ensuring every learner receives the appropriate level of care and support.
The SEND Hub offers:
- One-to-one mentoring
- Small group learning
- Personalised learning programmes
- Emotional regulation and therapeutic support
- Social communication development
- Life skills education
- ASDAN qualifications
- Football coaching and sports leadership awards
- Positive pathways into education, training and employment
One of the unique strengths of the SEND Hub is the learning environment itself, including:
